I loved Sherlock Holmes with all my heart and want to make sweet love to it. Robert Downey Jr., why do you do such things to my heart? Jude Law and Rachel McAdams were also excellent in the film, they caused me no end of joy. Doubtless, there were problems in the movie but I was too busy swooning over everything in this movie to really pay attention to what I didn't like (probably wasn't that much anyway).

The soundtrack is making me have funny feelings in my soul. Apparently they use "Irish and gypsy-influenced instrumentation, including banjos, fiddles, accordions, and North African percussion". Have I told you guys how much I freakin' adore music that uses instruments I don't normally hear in mainstream music? This includes the shamisen, accordion, Irish fiddles, gypsy violins, Hungarian cimbaloms and Argentinean bandoneons. Hans Zimmer, you are my idol.

Also, shoulda spent my 15 dollars on something other than watching Imax: Avatar. That is 3 hours I will never get back, but oh well. It was at the very least very shiny Pandora is now known as Glowstick Central. :|b

I will be visiting people in Santa Cruz from tomorrow till the 8th! Dunno how much internet time I will have, because I will (hopefully) be spending most of my time there clinging to everyone. God, I miss hugs. :(

In recollection, 2009 was an interesting year. Had its DEFINITE ups and downs (as any year) and I complained quite a lot more than I should have, but all in all? A year where I learned a lot. I'd like to think I grew up some and didn't eff up too bad (whoot, fulfillment of New Year's Resolution)! Nnnnot gonna make any new resolutions though, hahah.

And, as always, thank you guys for being here and for being the greatest net friends a person could ask for. Happy new year, everyone. ♥
